Welcome

Adaptive immune responses play a critical role in controlling pathogens and eliminating cancer. We apply immunology, virology, molecular biology, and genomics to identify immune responses that recognize infectious diseases, tumors, and mismatched molecules expressed by transplanted organs. Our research aims to enhance treatments for human and veterinary diseases.

Currently, the lab is focusing on:

  • Defining the relationship between small immunodeficiency virus reservoirs and long-term drug-free remission.
  • Isolating and characterizing monoclonal antibodies to transplant antigens.
  • Modernizing major histocompatibility complex (MHC) genotyping of dogs.
